James K.B. Brough

The Author James K.B. Brough was born in Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire, England and raised in Witbank, South Africa where his parents moved when he was eighteen-months-old.

He started writing poetry and short stories from a young age, winning many certificates in local literary competitions. James has nurtured his passion throughout the years whilst studying Art and 3D Animation.

Currently an Art Director for a Moscow based Gaming company, James published his first book in spring 2012, The Sword of Steel. He has completed the 5 part series, and plans to focus on other genres of writing. On the subject of whether or not S.W.A. will continue, James says "there is a whole (S.W.A.) universe to explore, and lots of characters that can have their own spin-offs. Who knows what tales can be told in the future."

His influences are; Michael Crichton, J.R.R. Tolkien, Joss Whedon, Clive Cussler and David Gemmell
